Navigated to the Prodigy package folder and executed pip install prodigy.Changed the file extension to zip and decompressed it.Executed pip install prodigy.whl* again and now I get the message: “Requirement ‘prodigy*.whl’ looks like a filename, but the file does not exist prodigy*.whl is not a valid wheel filename.”.Executed _platform() and changed the name of the wheel file accordingly to prodigy-1.2.36m-macosx-10.6-x86_64.whl.Executed pip install prodigy.whl* Result was the message "prodigy-1.2.36m-macosx_10_13_x86_64.whl is not a supported wheel on this platform.”.Executed conda install spacy Installation was successful.Navigated to the directory where the Prodigy files were copied.Activated the environment and executed conda install pip as expected got the message "All requested packages already installed.”.Created a new directory in the Users/myname folder and added the PRODIGY_LICENSE pdf file and prodigy-1.2.36m-macosx_10_13_x86_64.whl.Created a new Anaconda environment: prodigyenv.
Installing on a Mac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 Python 3.6.4.Have several hours invested in this and have run out of things to try.
